ARTICLE I - PURPOSE; EFFECTIVE DATE

1.1.Purpose. The purpose of the Jabil Inc. Executive Deferred Compensation Plan (hereinafter, the "Plan”) is to permit a select group of management or highly compensated employees of JABIL INC. (and its selected subsidiaries and/or affiliates) to defer the receipt of income which would otherwise become payable to them.
